About Boom Rock
Boom Rock is the rock spin-off from Boom Radio, the station for baby boomers. It launched on 14 February 2024 with a mix of album rock, hard rock, psychedelia and prog, plus folk, new wave and West Coast favourites; presenters have included Nicky Horne and Roger Day.
It started on DAB in Nottingham and joined small-scale multiplexes across London at Easter 2026. It is also on the Warminster, Devizes and Trowbridge multiplex.
