Bedford Radio

Bedford Radio is the volunteer-run local station for Bedford, heard on DAB across Bedford and Kempston and online. It started online in 2020, ran a short-term FM service for the River Festival and Fringe Festival in July 2022, and arrived on DAB in early 2024.

Anyone in Bedford can get on air. Daytime shows mix entertainment, discussion and current affairs with guests and listeners, and evenings bring specialist music such as Americana, blues and country. It is on the Bedford small-scale multiplex (block 9C).
