Aycliffe Radio

Aycliffe Radio is the volunteer-run community station for Newton Aycliffe and the surrounding area in County Durham. It launched on 1 December 2017 from two studios in the Blue Bridge Centre and has been on small-scale DAB+ across south Durham since August 2023, when it was one of the first stations on the Darlington and Bishop Auckland multiplex.

Daytime shows play popular music, with specialist programmes in the evenings and at weekends, from rock, punk and folk to Motown, Northern Soul and jazz, plus local news and community events.
